Opening Chant

A few lines of my favorite verses and passages, my way of announcing to any Devas who like to listen in on pali chanting, "Please come listen..."

opening line: always about the raft โ˜ธ๐Ÿšฃ

KN Dhp 273 first line, "maggฤn-aแนญแนญh-aแน…giko seแนญแนญho, saccฤnaแนƒ caturo padฤ."
KN Dhp 274 first line, " ese-โ€™va maggo nโ€™atth-aรฑรฑo, dassanassa visuddhiyฤ."
AN 4.34: the line, "Ye, bhikkhave, ariye aแนญแนญhaแน…gike magge pasannฤ, agge te pasannฤ. Agge kho pana pasannฤnaแนƒ aggo vipฤko hoti." But sometimes I switch it up and recite a different line or two from the same sutta.
"Namo tassa, Bhagavato, Arahatto, Sammฤ Sam-buddhassa." (I see no reason to repeat that line three times when my samฤdhi is strong and I'm lucid and clear about what I think and what I say)
